Responsibilities:Administer and communicate company benefits to employees including enrollment, new hire orientation, employee status changes and employee communication, health insurance, 401(k), FSA, life insurance and supplemental life insurance. Answer questions as needed.Establish and maintain good communications with all appropriate insurance contacts including benefits administration, third party administrators and payroll.Process paperwork for all benefit changes in the Houston offices; including new hires and terminating employees, as well as changes of family status and leaves of absence. Coordinate changes with payroll and Corporate benefits.Maintain HRIS system as required and upload data to Corporate. Conduct quarterly audits to compare to payroll data. Generate reports for various functions.Coordinate all temporary help needs for the Houston office. Establish rapport with temporary service agencies assuring departments needs and standards are met.Administer attendance/vacation policy for Houston. Train and supervise attendance coordinators on procedures. Conduct quarterly audits on attendance. Advise new hires and terminating employees of vacation status. Administer annual vacation carryover and March 31st deadline policy including any/all-approved extensions.Assist in recruiting efforts, including placing advertisements and sending rejection letters.Coordinate monthly random drug program with clinic, including scheduling, providing monthly employee roster to Safety Department and receiving.Organize wellness programs for the Houston office.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required,Two to four years of Human Resources experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office software including; Word and ExcelGood written and verbal communication skillsDisclaimer: We are not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms/employment agencies for this employment opportunity.
