The PGA TOUR Superstore Store Leadership Internship is a paid position, so you’re earning while you learn! At PGA TOUR Superstore , we are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible individuals who share a passion for helping transform our business. As one of the fastest growing specialty retailers in the U.S., we are dedicated to hiring team players from different backgrounds to influence our growth. PGA TOUR Superstore offers a 10-week Store Leadership Intern Program for students during the summer months (June- August). We welcome students with a variety of majors and interests. Our Internship Program is tailored to provide you with in-depth knowledge of company operations and initiatives, hands-on experience leading a team, and interaction with senior leadership. You will have the opportunity to learn about the challenges we face in our fast-paced environment, and help to strategize solutions- making you a contributing team member of ourorganization. Upon successful completion of the program: Employment opportunities could be available in a leadership role at one of our locations across the country.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    Junior or rising Senior class standing preferred

    Desire to pursue a career in leadership or retail management

    A cumulative 3.0 GPA minimum is preferred

    All majors will be considered for this opportunity

    SKILLS:

    Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking

    Strong problem solving, decision making and financial analysis skills

    Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situationStrong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Store Leadership Intern must be able to stand for extended periods of time, climb up and down a ladder, move throughout the store, and lift a 30 lb. box overhead.

    OTHER : Store Leadership Intern must be able to accommodate a typical retail schedule, work a flexible work week, and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

    JOBRESPONSIBILITIES: 

    The Store Leadership Intern works directly with the Assistant Manager & Store Manager to provide leadership and team building essentials to the associates by driving sales and customer service.This position will assist in ensuring that sales are the number one priority while making sure that all customers are provided a world class shopping experience.The Store Leadership Intern will assist with the ongoing development of his/her associates by making sure that they receive performance feedback and timely and effective training.The Store Leadership Intern will provide communication to the Store and Assistant Managers regarding opportunities to improve merchandising, events, policies, and procedures.They are also responsible to ensure good in-stock levels and the execution of general inventory management practices.

    JOB RELATIONSHIPS: 

    This position is critical to the development of our associates and the cultivation of our customers. The Store Leadership Intern position is responsible for partnering with fellow members of the management team to ensure the execution of company initiatives, programs, and processes to develop associates, cultivate customers, and provide every customer with a world class experience.
