We invite new graduates to apply for a uniqueopportunity to receive didactic and clinical training in almost all areas ofnursing. This program will allow new graduates to obtain experience through anintensive internship program and then transition to staff roles.

This program can be from 10-24 weeks,depending on department you are hired into.

The program consist of Didactic, on-linecoursework & simulation lab. During the first part of the training time(first 5-11 weeks), the schedule will be Monday- Friday, with 40 hour workweeks at a centralized location. Most days will be in typical business hours (8AM- 5 PM). The 2nd part is preceptorship at the hospital you were hired for;shifts will transition to 12 hours.

Program Starts: Summer 2020 

Attendance is imperative and all days arerequired to remain in the program. No days can be missed. 

All who successfully complete the StaRN programwill transition into full-time roles at hospital & department they areselected for during the initial interview process.

The StaRN program comes with a 2 yearcommitment with the facility and department that sponsored them intothe program. If a candidate chooses to leave the facility before the 2 yearcommitment is fulfilled, they will be required to meet a pro-rated monetaryresponsibility.

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing is required.
  • What qualification you will need:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school within the last 9 months
  • Texas RN License is required to start the residency program. NCLEX Test results must be received by the Wednesday before the Cohort Starts.
  • Self-motivated and strong communication skills required.
